PURPOSE: To practically suppress warpage by compensating warpage due to the curing shrinkage of a resin with the warpage of a substrate itself. CONSTITUTION: A recording layer 2 is formed on the surface of a substrate 1 and the surface of the recording layer 2 is coated with a UVcuring resin 3. The substrate 1 is then forced to warp convexly in consideration of the extent of warpage by the recording layer 2 and the extent of warpage due to the curing shrinkage of the resin 3 and the substrate 1 is fixed on support rings 5. In this state, the resin 3 is cured by irradiation with UV. When the substrate 1 is detached from the support rings 5 after the curing, warpage by the recording layer 2 and due to the curing shrinkage of the resin 3 is compensated with the forced warpage and the objective optical recording disk 6 having high planeness is obtd. |
