PURPOSE: To provide a molded article of a compd. material and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: A carrier material 2 is a molded article bonded to a particulate foam 5 of a polymer. In a first process, at least one bonding layer 12 is applied to the carrier material 2 and, in a second process, a pre-produced compd. of the carrier material of the bonding layer 12 is guided into a foaming device so that the bonding layer 2 is turned to a cavity for foaming particles. Thereafter, particles 3 comprising the same polymer matrix material as the bonding layer 12 are foamed in the cavity. An almost unseparated bond is formed between the carrier material 2 and the particulate foam 5. The bonding layer contains the foamed particles 3 or regenerated particles. At least one surface of the carrier material is made adhesive to form an adhesive layer 11 in which the foamed particles 3 or regenerated particles are embedded. |
