PURPOSE: To paint a pattern at one time over the entire surface of a basic material using at least, two different types of half-kneaded paint. CONSTITUTION: This transfer painting device is equipped with a transfer roll D which is wider than a basic materialβand is installed traversing the surface of the basic material, a coating groove 3 of almost semicircular cross section which is narrower than the transfer at t roll D and is wider than the basic materialβ, and is installed traversing the surface of the transfer roll D, and a first pipe 4 communicatind with the coating groove 3 and a second pipe 5 communicating with the first pipe 4. In addition, different types of paint A, B are continuously supplied to the coating groove 3 from the first pipe 4 and the second pipe 5, and a pattern is formed on the surface of the transfer roll D. Further, a pattern is transferred to the surface of the basic materialβby rotation of the transfer roll D and at the same time, the basic materialβis moved in a longitudinal direction to perform a continuous transfer coating operation.
