PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the cost of a nonimage part charge removing device, without deficiency of an image. CONSTITUTION: In this copying device, the LED elements of a peripheral erasing LED 42 are lighted sequentially from first positions corresponding to both end parts of a photoreceptor drum 38 to a second position corresponding to the vicinity of the central part of the drum 38, by an erasing LED lighting circuit 114 including Zener diodes. Moreover, the LED element to which a voltage smaller than a prescribed voltage is supplied by one of the Zener diodes emits light having luminance corresponding to the supplied voltage. |
