PURPOSE: To enable printing of an image which is little in granular feeling in full colors to be carried out by providing a means or the like which judges whether or not a color indicated by an image data is a color other than fundamental colors and a specific part color capable of being expressed by the fundamental colors. CONSTITUTION: A hue and a saturation are judged (S4) by a color judging part of a specific color generating part based on density data C, M, Y obtained by a series of processings of input analysis (S1), input correction (S2), and density conversion (S3). Simultaneously under color-removing and black-generating are processed by an under color-removing part or the like (S5), and masking (S6) is processed. Then, whether or not a specific color generation is carried out is judged by specifying the specific color (S7). When blue BL is judged to be specified as the specific color, respective signals are generated according to a degree relating to generation of the specific color BL. Besides, whether or not the hue and saturation which are judged by the color judging part are to be reproduced with ink of a system containing the specific color ink BL is judged by a color area judging part (S9). |
