PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for checking and replacement by preventing signal missing in a signal transmission system between a rotating body side and an external device. CONSTITUTION: A detector 4 detects the motion of a rotating body such as movement in the axial direction, a parallel signal obtained from the detection is fed to a rotating body side signal converter 1, in which the parallel signal is converted into a serial signal, the signal is fed to a rotating body side transmission module 2, where the signal is converted into an optical signal and it is fed to an external transmission module 2' via a guide optical path 3, a space transmission section, and a guide path 3'. The optical signal is converted into a parallel signal, an external controller 5 calculates a control command signal, the obtained control command signal is converted into a serial signal by an external signal converter, converted into an optical signal by the external transmission module and fed to the rotating body side transmission module via the guide optical path 3', the space transmission section, and a guide path 3. Then the optical signal is converted into a serial signal and fed to the rotating body side signal converter, in which the signal is converted into a parallel signal, it is fed to a rotating body driver, which is controlled to adjust the axial directional position. |
