PURPOSE: To report the lack of the balance to a user in advance by performing the radio transmission of its information to a transaction medium when generat ing the lack of the remainder before the radio communication type transaction medium enters a toll road from an entrance part and gets out of it from an exit part. CONSTITUTION: When a vehicle 6, on which the user owning a card 5 gets, passes through its own toll gate and leaves a toll road R, a toll collecting device receives bslance information and entrance information from that radio card 5 by radio, calculates the toll corresponding to a traveling distance for the vehicle 6 to travel on the toll road R by retrieving a toll table corresponding to the car type based on that entrance information and performs collection processing by subtracting that calculated toll from the remainder stored in the radio card 5. Thus, when the remainder is lacked after the toll from the interchange entering the toll road R to the next interchange from the balance stored in the radio card 5, its information is transmitted to the radio card 5. Therefore, the short of balance is reported to the owner of the radio card 5 in advance. |
