PURPOSE: To correct misregistrations without deteriorating efficiency in use of devices by detecting annular state of a plurality of image forming devices, deciding a timing for optional simultaneous correction of registrations based on the detection, and instructing remaining devices to start processing. CONSTITUTION: When a plurality of image forming devices (ST1-ST4) are being operated simultaneously, a registration correction mark is detected by a read means 10 and a correction means 51. An optional simultaneous correction timing for correcting registrations simultaneously at a time based on an annular state of a detected device body is decided by a CPU of an image processing station 52. In each image forming device which remains based on the decision, an instruction means for start of registration correction processing is provided so as to decide an optional simultaneous correction timing. When each image forming device is being operated simultaneously, a misregistration of each image forming device can be automatically corrected at a proper timing. |
