PURPOSE: To prevent a recording and a reproducing from being interrupted by arranging groove tracks and land tracks continuously on one line of a spiral and connecting groove tracks and land tracks while changing over them every one round amount of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: Since recording tracks forms a helical spiral, the Nth sector of a groove track is connected to the 1st sector of the track of a track number (T-1) assigned to land tracks. Moreover, the Nth sector of the land track of the track number (T-1) is connected to the 1st sector of a track number T assigned to groove tracks. In the case of performing a recording and a reroducing with respect to an optical disk, when a light beam is once made to be tracking on one track. since thereafter the optical spot scans alternately and successively groove tracks and land tracks, it can access all of information without allowing it to perform track jumping operations. |
