PURPOSE: To remove oxygen from a container by a top of simple structure and a good unsealability by a method wherein an absorber containing as oxygen absorbing component, an oxygen absorbent which starts oxygen absorption with water content serving as a trigger is attached to a predetermined opening part in such a manner as to lie exposed on at least its underside. CONSTITUTION: A top 1 of the type attached to the discharging opening of a paper-made liquid container is provided around the outer periphery of the base part of a discharging cylinder 2 with a flange 3 for ultrasonic welding and at the bottom opening of the discharging cylinder 2 with a predetermined opening part 5 integrally formed to the bottom opening thereof, surrounded by a thin wall part 4 and separable therefrom. An absorber 7 is attached to the underside of the predetermined opening part 5. As for the absorber 7, the oxygen absorbent which starts oxygen absorption with water content serving as a trigger is kneaded with resin material and the resulting mass is formed into a sheet-like absorber which, in a condition of being attached to the underside of the predetermined opening part 5, absorbs water to cause oxygen absorption. In this way the oxygen in the head space of a container and oxygen coming out of the contents can be removed. |
