<p>PURPOSE: To connect a pipe efficiently and without any danger. CONSTITUTION: A member 34 to hold the head part of a bolt 10 which is passed through a flange 7 of a receiving port 2 is installed on a frame 28 which is put on one and the other pipes 1 and 3 from the top of it. Also a pressing ring setter 42 holds a pressing ring 9 fitted closely on the outer side of an inserting port 4, and the pressing ring 9 is rotated so as to align bolt holes 12 in the pressing ring 9 with the bolts 10 passed through the flange 7 in circumferential direction. Then the pressing ring 9 is moved in the direction to move the pressing ring 9 close to the flange 7 of the receiving port 2 by a cylinder device 22 so as to press a seal material 8 fitted closely on the outer side of the inserting port 4 forcibly into a clearance between the receiving port and the inserting port at the flange 7 and pass the screw part of the bolts 10 held by a holding member 34 through the bolt holes 12 in the pressing ring 9.</p> |
