<p>PURPOSE: To prevent generation of rubbing each other between a heater heating part and an internal wall of a metal sleeve, without deteriorating the instantaneous operating performance of a cathode body structure. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises a cylindrical metal sleeve 13, heat-shaped base substance metal 14 fitted to a one end opening part of the metal sleeve 13, electron emitting substance layer 15 provided in a top surface of the base substance metal 14 and a heater 16 stored in the metal sleeve 13 to burn an insulation coating applied to the surface. In the heater 16, at least partly a top part adjacent to the hat-shaped base substance metal 14 is secured by a thermosetting fixing agent 19 to an internal surface of the hat-shaped base substance metal 14 and/or an internal wall of the metal sleeve 13.</p> |
