The invention relates to an all-round in-line skate wheel which solves many of the problems encountered in existing skates. The problems are: excessively large contact surfaces with the roadway, which have to be dealt with, the running surfaces of the various types of existing wheels have softnesses which vary according to wheel, often changing according to the road surface and distance. Since the volume of this material is relatively great and therefore heavy, although this heaviness is required in order to absorb vibrations. By dint of its round, tubular spoke structure, the wheel absorbs the vibrations itself, so that it is possible to provide less, harder surface material and more plastic. The result is a smaller frictional surface on the roadway, with the result that wheels and ball bearings have to be exchanged less frequently and are subject to less wear. This provides more comfort and speed, with a lower energy consumption, noticeably over long distances and in competitions with eight or ten wheels. With the self-adjusting front wheels, the invention also provides a brake-stopping system which provides a solution to the well-known difficulties when braking.
