Filter paper or unwoven cloth is folded in a zig-zag shape to form an element (11) in the form of a panel, which is sealed into a filter housing (10) at at least two side faces by a sealing tape (15, 16), which may consist of the material of the filter element and be adhesively bonded to it. The filter element is inserted in the housing and bears on a sealing element (17), being secured by snap fittings (18, 19, 20). A strut-like mounting (21) retains the element in place. |
