The invention relates to a transmission, with two gearwheels which are mounted on a rotatable housing and the angular position of which can be adjusted with respect to one another, and with an adjustment mechanism, which is accommodated in the housing, for changing the angular position of the gearwheels with respect to one another, comprising a screw part which can move axially inside the housing and in this way rotates one of the gearwheels, and a drive part which brings about this axial movement of the screw part. The drive part has a stationary position and is connected to the screw part via a rotary coupling.
