The process involves diverse homogenized materials, such as paper or cellulose fibres, composed of barley flour (meal), wheat and rice husks, esparto (esparto grass), plastics and resins, the cellulose fibres being protected in a threefold manner from attack by alkaline or acid components; a degree of non-combustibility of the organic compounds being obtained; and optimum mechanical strength of the part being obtained. The addition of cements, lime, gypsum and plaster gives consistency to the parts and makes them impermeable and facilitates subsequent rendering operations. The parts are obtained from this homogenized material either by moulding or by means of an extruder, in a continuous manner, with subsequent cutting. Apart from greater strength, lightness, ease of positioning and other advantages they contribute to solving the ecological problem since they largely use recycled materials.
