Disclosed is a prophylactic and curing agent for sequelae of cerebral neurocyte dyscrasia, which comprises a benzothiazepine compound represented by the formula: (wherein R<1> to R<4> each represent a lower alkyl group) or a phamacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
