The composition according to the invention, which is especially suitable for encapsulation in a solid encasing material, is characterised in that it contains - at least one partial or complete extract of fresh and/or dried plants or parts thereof and - at least one carrier material for the said partial or complete extract, where the said carrier material must be amenable to encapsulation and inert towards the said extract, and is selected from the group defined in Claim 1. A process for preparing this composition is also described.
