The reducer unit consists of at least one separator tube (1), connecting rings (6) and a flange (10), assembled to form a continuous and uniform guide channel in which a bar (14) to be machined is inserted. The reducer unit components are modular and are assembled by screwing them together. The outer diameter of the rings are equivalent to the inner diameter of the headstock, and each of the rings and the flange have grooves for seals.
