PURPOSE:To make high speed unloading possible and consequently improve productivity by a method wherein an approach cam is provided so as to approach a molded item unloading arm, which is inserted in a mold at the end of the movement of a movable platen in the direction for opening the mold, by moving in the direction for opening and closing the mold. CONSTITUTION:Since a parallel link mechanism is formed by arms 28 and 29 and bearing plates 25 and 32, the bearing plate 32 is shifted from the position indicated by the chain lines to the position indicated by the solid lines, when the arm 28 is pivoted clockwise by means of the cam groove 31 of a cylindrical cam 24 so as to enter between an open mold. Further, at the end of the movement of a movable platen 12 in the direction for opening the mold, an inloading head 33 is moved by means of an approach cam 36 towards the movable platen 12 so as to approach a molded item 16. Thus, the unloading head 33 is shifted from the position indicated by chain lines to the position indicated by the solid lines in order to hold the molded item by suction. Accordingly, the loss time for unloading the molded item 16 can be made substantially to zero. |
