The fluid dosing device is intended to be mounted in the air inlet pipe (8) to the engine, upstream from the opening (9) of the pipe carrying the recycled exhaust gas into the inlet. It is formed within a body (1), crossed by a pipe (2), fitted with a closing valve (3), in the form of a disk, which is mounted so as to rotate on a shaft (5), passing across the pipe. The shaft is driven in rotation by a linear activator (11), which is added to the side of the device body. The activator consists of a moving element (14), which moves parallel to the shaft, and is linked to the shaft by a mechanism (27, 28 and 29), which transforms the linear motion of the moving element into rotational movement of the shaft. |
