Electrical connector for linking main and subsidiary electric cables e.g. for use in lighting railway lines or tunnels

The electrical connector includes a body with a top part which is cut and has a diametrical groove. An other part has a supply nut of a free axial rotating finger. The nut is screwed to the top part of the body after engagement with a stripped part of a conductor in the groove. The finger engages in the groove. It presses the conductor between itself and the groove. The pressing finger is axially linked to the nut. An elastic device is interposed between the pressing finger and the nut. The elastic device is compressed when the nut is squeezed and subjected to an axial force by an electric conductor.
