The NC device suitable for correctly cutting the wheel shape of the train defined by the NC program, comprises the memory(2) for memorizing the respective data of the wheel; CRT(3) for displaying the data; wheel shape measuring means(13) for measuring the diameter of the wheel, height of the flange, and thickness of the flange; NC program translating means(12) for translating the measured value to the data suitable for the NC program; CPU(1) for calculating the R-parameter according to the data from the means(12); the wheel cutting means(7) for cutting the wheel according to the control signal from the CPU.
