The pivot device of the truck has a converter for changing a linear driving force into rotational moment and which works according to the principle of a spiral ratchet. The converter has a twisted four-edge profile. The pivot device has at least one hydraulic cylinder (7) producing the driving force. Alternatively the cab has a screw thread drive providing the actuating force.
