Ice material is heated to a predetermined temp. for a predetermined time, using microwaves. The ice material is cooled to storage temp. and is then delivered in the frozen state. During the cooling process the ice material is pref. stirred. Heating and cooling (pasteurisation) are pref. repeated on a daily basis.
