Ice cream machine

Prodn. of ice cream uses an ice cream machine (10) with a first motor for the arbor of the freezing cylinder, and a second motor (23) for a compressor. The second motor (23) is activated within a given temp. range of the freezing cylinder. The first motor (20) is operated at intervals and is deactivated when there is a set loading on the drive shaft. The mechanical loading is registered by the difference formed between the measured actual electrical power at the power supply (27) of the ice cream machine and the power of the second electrical motor (23). Also claimed is a machine (10). The machine has a the controller (28) with an evaluation unit (29). It is connected (30-37) to the two motors (20,23), sensors (15,17,43) and the electrical power supply (27).
