The motor, excited by surface-mounted permanent magnets (13,13.1), consists of two stator shells (10,10.1), polyphase windings (11,11.1) and the rotor (12) whose surfaces (14) are larger than those (15) of the stator shells. The common centre (M) of both surfaces (14,15) is the origin of the co-ordinate system (21) and at the same time the centre of rotation. The shaft (17) is mounted so that the possibility of rotation in all three spatial dimensions is guaranteed. |
