The arrangement consists of two assemblies each with four sets of vibrating transporter troughs (5). They are of equal mass and are mounted at a slight slope so that material from one transporter drops with the next, forming a continuous path (11). The sets of troughs which form pairs are vibrated in equal phase by a drive via eccentrics. The vibrating troughs are connected by links (4a,4b) to the frame (5). Consecutive sets of vibrating troughs are vibrated out of phase relative to one another by 180 deg. Two blocks (A,B) each of four pairs of troughs (50a,50b) are mounted one above another. The last vibrating trough of the first block (A) has a phase shifts of 90 deg. relative to the first trough of the next block (B). Heating or cooling fluid is fed through the blocks.
