The invention concerns a method of securing solar panels (1) with photo-volatic solar cells on a roofing tile/roofing slab/wall panel, a solar cell (1) being disposed on each roofing tile/roofing slab/wall panel. First, a plurality of solar panels (1) in the unsecured state are interconnected by electric leads (3), the lead lengths between two solar panels being equal to or greater than the distance between two solar panels in the secured state on the roofing tile/roofing slab/wall panel. The electrically interconnected solar panels (1) are then stacked on one another, mounted on the roof and secured, in particular manually, one after the other on the roofing tile/roofing slab/wall panel.
