<p>Particles of a composite calcium compound containing a cyclic inulo-oligosaccharide deposited on the surfaces thereof are produced by the reaction of an aqueous calcium hydroxide suspension with carbon dioxide on a mineral acid or a salt thereof in the presence of a cyclic inulo-oligosaccharide. The compound has controlled crystal grain diameters and forms and is excellent in dispersibility and redispersibility, thus being useful as a filler.</p> |
