Electrical connector for turbo generator winding lead

The connector is used between a winding lead (1) on the inside of the turbogenerator housing (3) and an electrical lead (2) on the outside of the housing. It uses an insulating socket (4) fitted in the housing, attached to the winding lead and a cooperating plug (6) attached to the external electrical lead. The ends (5,7) of the leads terminate within the socket and the plug respectively, so that their ends abut when the connectors are assembled, with holders (8,9) for electrical and mechanical connection of the lead ends.
