Biodegradable floral creations for non-inflammable Christmas trees

Artificial florist's creations made of biodegradable plastic are esp. Christmas trees and florist's accessories. These prods. are made by injection moulding synthetic block copolymers with the formula: -(A)n1-(B)n2-(A)n3- A)n1 = readily biodegradable block of monomer units, i.e. (R)-PHB, starch or polycarbonate; (B)n2 = sequence of monomer units which is less readily biodegradable than (A), i.e. polyglycols based on PO or EO; and n1-n3 = chain lengths. These polymers contain cavity structures which are produced by polymerising crosslinked, swellable oligo-prepolymers with 3 or more functional gps., and which contain ingredients such as aroma substances identical with natural prods., pigments and fire retardants.
