The region (9) consists of a selectively switchable light permeable or light impermeable material and is located behind the first indicating unit (2) or a part of this indicating unit. The second indicating unit (3) contains an indicating panel with self illuminating and/or with illuminable indicating elements. The first indicating unit (2) contains an indicating needle (5), driven by a servo motor (7). The motor is arranged at the rear side of a panel (8), which contains the light permeable or the light impermeable switchable region (9).
