Cyclone for mechanical separation of solid particles from gas stream

The mechanical solid particle separator is combined with a sectional head fan for generating an extra swirling flow in the inlet section. This acts down to the cyclone conical part for increase separation of the solid particles from the gas flow. Pref. the extra flow is attained in a vertical or horizontal part of the cyclone and sectional head fan. Typically the solid particle separation is attained in the full gas volume but may be effective even in an additional volume.
