<p>A method of transferring a strip of photosensitive material (P) in regular increments over an exposure table (4) by means of a feed roller (22) upstream and a transfer roller (23) downstream on opposite sides of the exposure table (4). This method actually measures in advance a feed size of the photosensitive material on the basis of the number of revolutions of the feed roller (22) and the feed size of the photosensitive material on the basis of the number of revolutions of the transfer roller (23) in order to prevent the occurrence of the difference between these feed sizes, and corrects the numbers of revolutions to be imparted to these rollers. Because the feed size of paper based on the number of revolutions of the feed roller (22) is so controlled as to be equal to the feed size of paper based on the number of revolutions of the transfer roller, the same size of paper can be correctly transferred even before the forward end of paper is clamped by the transfer roller (23) or when it is fed by only the feed roller (22).</p> |
