Mobile radio network for cellular digital radio communication system

The network comprises a number of base stations (BTS1 to BTSu), which possess a base station control (BSC), where all the controls are connected with a switching system (SS) providing connections to other radio networks (PSTN) and public (ISDN) networks. Each base station control employs a handover algorithm for controlling the handover of mobile stations (MS1, MS2, ...) in a mobile network, forming cell surfaces each with a base station. The operating parameters are determined by an iterative computer-aided simulation.
