The invention concerns a method of producing shaped bodies from hard ferrite by sintering in which green bodies are prepared using: (a) cyclododecane, cyclododecanol, stearyl alcohol or mixtures of two or all of these substances combined with (b) stearic acid as plasticizer and binder. The method is suitable for producing magnets, in particular segment magnets.
