<p>This invention relates to a co-extruded film or sheet comprising a base layer and at lease one surface layer, characterised in that the base layer comprises a polyolefin and has a thickness greater than about 10 mu m, and the surface layer comprises a polyolefin and a silica filler and has a thickness less than about 50 mu m The surface layer contains from 10 to 60% w/w of silica based on the polyolefin content of said surface layer. Films and sheets of this type have superior absorbent properties for imprinting media such as eg ink.</p> |
