<p>PURPOSE:To hold the state of a 1st microcomputer without increasing its packaging area when a 1st power supply is kept off by using the 1st microcomputer which works with the 1st power supply and a 2nd microcomputer which works with a 2nd power supply. CONSTITUTION:The 1st microcomputer, e.g., a system control microcomputer 2 works with the 1st power supply, e.g., a battery 1. While the 2nd microcomputer, e.g., a time data microcomputer 4 which works with the 2nd power supply, e.g., a Li battery 3. The data is always sent to the 2nd microcomputer 2 from the 1st microcomputer 2 and the microcomputer 4 substitutes the microcomputer 2 in case the power supply is turned off. Thus the working of the microcomputer 2 is always backed up by the microcomputer 4 working with the power supply 3 even though the power supply of the microcomputer 2 is turned off or the battery 1 is pulled out. Then the working state of the microcomputer 2 is held.</p> |
