Rotating machine with axial thrust

The machine has a rotary thrust element (32) and a coupling wall (34) connected to its rotor shaft (16) by a single tubular connector (30). The machine itself consists of a stator (2), a rotor (4) which turns about a horizontal axis and a coupling balancer (8). The stator has two bearings (10,12) to support the rotor, and an axial thrust member (14), while the rotor has a shaft (16) with two bearing supports (18,20) and a working section (22) between them.
