PURPOSE:To always securely stick the cap consisting of elastic material fast to a printing head, by providing a means in which either of the cap or the printing head is oscillated when the cap is in contact with the printing head to be sticked fast thereto. CONSTITUTION:When a cap 2 is brought into contact with a printing head 1 by moving the cap, the printing head 1 is finely reciprocated via a drive belt 13 by the drive of a motor 10 and is brought into a vibration state. Then, the cap 2 can be made compatible with the printing head 1 by effectively utilizing the elasticity of the cap 2. Its airtightness can be remarkably improved and the title recorder of a high reliability without troubles such as ink drying, inferior ink absorption, etc. can be obtained. Especially in the initial state where no ink is fed to the printing head 1, in the state where the printing head 1 with no cap on s left for a long time, and in the case where the mutual contact surfaces of the printing head 1 and the cap 2 are contaminated with the rubbish of print paper or the like, and dust, much benefits can be expected. |
