<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the displacement, jumping out and breakage of sealing bodies by forming groins with the inner diameter nearly the same as that of a metal pipe portion of a corrosion-proof pipe on the inner face at the depth of a metal joint main body, and backing up sealed bodies With the groins when a relatively large force in the pipe insertion direction is applied to the sealing bodies made of resin. CONSTITUTION:A pipe joint 1 has a metal union nut 2, the first joint member 3 and the second joint member 4. The first joint member 3 is constituted of a sealing body 6 made of resin and a metal joint main body 5 formed with a male screw 5a and a female screw 5b for screwing a corrosion-proof pipe. The second joint member 4 is constituted of a metal joint main body 7 formed with a collar section 7a and a female screw 7b for screwing the corrosion-proof pipe and a sealing body 8 made of resin and formed in the joint main body 7 by injection molding. Groins 5f, 7f protruded in the axis direction of the joint 1 are formed on inner faces at the depth of the joint members 3, 4 respectively. Connection sections 6c, 8c of the sealing bodies 6, 8 are kept in close contact with the groins 5f, 7f. When the corrosion-proof pipe is excessively screwed, the sealing bodies 6, are backed up by the groins 5f, 7f, and the displacement, jumping out and breakage of the sealing bodies 6, 8 are surely prevented.</p> |
