<p>The present invention relates to a mold for injection-molding a hemispherical hollow body (1,2) formed of a thermoplastic elastomer, which comprises a first mold (23) having a hemispherical convex, a second mold (24) having a hemispherical concave larger in size than said hemispherical convex, on which second mold (24) is superposed said first mold (23) to form a cavity (25) for said hemispherical hollow body (1,2) a first valve mold (26) removably mounted centrally of the surface of said hemispherical convex of said first mold (23), for forming an outer form of a valve (3) and an inside and small-diameter portion of a valve rubber insertion hole (14), a second valve mold (27) removably mounted centrally of the surface of said hemispherical concave, for forming an intermediate and largediameter portion of said valve rubber insertion hole (14) and an outside and small-diameter portion thereof while forming a cavity (28) for said valve (3) in cooperation with said first mold, and a plurality of gates (31) formed in the periphery of said outside and small-diameter portion of said valve rubber insertion hole (14) associated with said second valve mold (27), for injecting therethrough a plasticized or molten thermoplastic elastomer into said cavities (25, 28). <IMAGE></p> |
