摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a multiplexing system of self-emission type light sensors which makes it possible to monitor simultaneously the self-emission type light sensors provided at a plurality of places, to collect light signals through optical fibers and to detect positions of generation of the light signals. CONSTITUTION: Optical fibers 11 and 12 for signal transmission are made to branch in two at a prescribed place and laid so that they are parallel to each other at a prescribed interval between them and that the respective fore ends thereof on the branching side separate from each other, and a necessary number of self-emission type light sensors S1 to Sn emitting light on the basis of various detection outputs are connected, like steps of stairs, between the two optical fibers laid in parallel, by photocouplers a1 to an and b1 7 to bn . The connection is so made that connecting distances of the self-emission type light sensors each one end of which is connected first to these two optical fibers are made different from the branching position of the fibers. Signals generated from each of the self-emission type light sensors are transmitted as two signals through the photocouplers connected to the opposite sides thereof, a transmission time difference τ between them is detected and the position of emission of light is specified therefrom.
