PURPOSE: To obtain a photoreceptor which is hardly changed in its surface potential characteristics by use by subjecting the semi-finished product of the photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer formed on the surface of a conductive base material to processes including electrostatic charge and photoirradiation repetitively in plural cycles. CONSTITUTION: A main electrostatic charger 11, a discharger 12 for transfer, a discharger 13 for sepn. and a destaticizing lamp 14 are arranged around the semi-finished product 10 of the photoreceptor for electrophotography which has the photosensitive layer formed on the surface of the conductive base material and is freely rotatably and freely attachably and detachably mounted in a prescribed position with the device for producing the photoreceptor having a stable sensitivity from the semi-finished product of the org. photoreceptor for electrophotography. The photoreceptor is irradiated with light 20 from an exposing lamp on the downstream side from the main electrostatic charger 11 of the semi-finished product 10 of the photoreceptor.
