<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate danger that dust or the like infiltrates an equipment side connector and to provide a portable equipment of satisfactory appearance by closing the connecting port of the equipment side connector with the front wall surface of a recessed part by turning the connector forward in the state of detaching a display from the main body of equipment. CONSTITUTION: Since an equipment side connector 20 is housed/mounted inside a recessed part 32 at a main body 1 of equipment so as to be freely turnable back and forth, when the connector 20 is turned forward after a display 10 is detached, the downside surface of the connector 20 comes into close contact with the downside wall, which is inclined downward to the front, of the recessed part 32 and retained there. Then, a connecting port 23 of the connector 20 is closed with a front wall surface 35 of the recessed part 32. Thus, when using the portable equipment while detaching the display 10 from the main body 1 of equipment and connecting the main body 1 and an external display, dust or the like is prevented from infiltrating from the connecting port 23 of the connector 20 into the ocnnector 20 and sticking on the contact of the connector 20.</p> |
