Conversion products of polyetheramines having dicarboxylic and anhydride groups contain 20-80 (pref. 40-60) mol.% bivalent structural units A and/or C, and opt. B, and 80-20 (pref. 60-40) mol.% bivalent structural units D. R1 and R2 = H or Me, a,b = 0 or 1, and a+b = 1; Y = NRR3; X = OH, O-(1-30)C alkyl, NR3R4 O<->N<+>R3R4; R3 and R4 = H, 6-40C alkyl or R; R = -Z(OCH(R6)CH2)nOR5; A=2-4C alkyl; n=1-1000; R5 = 1-30C alkyl; 5-12C cycloalkyl; or 6-30C alkyl; R6 = H, 1-4C alkyl, pref. Me; R7 = H or 1-4C alkyl; and R8 = 1-60C alkyl or 6-18C aryl; with the proviso that at least 1 mol.% of the polymer bound acid anhydride gps. is reached with polyetheramine. Also claimed is the prodn. of conversion products. Further claimed is a mixt. consisting of conversion product and at least one ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer. |
