<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate wasteful consumption of power, and to surely operate a door lock even when a battery is to some extent discharged by driving a lock pawl between a locking position and an unlocking position by a miniature motor and operating the door lock through a cycle, every time an operating signal is received. SOLUTION: When a motor is supplied with electricity, a worm gear 48 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction from a cycle-start end position. A rocking-arm assembly 40 is rocked, and a lock pawl 35 is pulled out of a locking position. However, if an operator turns an external knob 26 during this time interval, pullout is prevented by frictional engagement, and the lock pawl continues to be driven until the arm assembly 40 reaches a cycle intermediate position. A sensor 61 transmits a signal to a processor by a permanent magnet 62 at the cycle intermediate position, and the motor is stopped for a fixed time. When the knob 26 is revolved and released for the period, an expanded spring 38 is cam-engaged with a flat section 137. The lock pawl 35 is pulled out. Accordingly, the motor is not stopped even by unconscious knob operation, and the door lock can be surely operated.</p> |
