PURPOSE: To provide a nickel-hydrogen secondary battery excellent in charging feasibility at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: Nickel hydroxide, zinc or a zinc compound, cobalt or a cobalt compound, and an oxide or/and a hydroxide of rare earth elements are used as the essential components for the active material mix of the nickel electrode of this nickel-hydrogen secondary battery. Nickel hydroxide, zinc or a zinc compound, and cobalt or a cobalt compound are used as the essential components for the active material mix of the nickel electrode, and the alkaline metal salt of metaboric acid is contained in an alkaline electrolyte. |
