PURPOSE: To obtain a herbicidal composition capable of remarkably reducing the phytotoxicity to transplanted paddy rice without reducing herbicidal effects possessed by a pyrazolesulfonylurea-based compound by adding dymron to the specific pyrazolesulfonylurea-based compound. CONSTITUTION: This herbicidal composition contains a pyrazolesulfonylurea- based compound of formula I and a compound of formula II, i.e. dymron in combination as active ingredients. The composition is capable of remarkably reducing the phytotoxicity to paddy rice and simultaneously maintaining high effects without deteriorating controlling effects on various weeds at all. This composition contains the compound of formula II in an amount of 0.1-1000 pts.wt., preferably 10-500 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. compound of formula I. The dose of the composition for treatment is preferably 0.3-3kg/ha expressed in terms of the active ingredients. The weeding spectrum can be extended by blending one or more other herbicides in the composition and the effects thereof can further be stabilized. |
